Mst. Anju Ara Khatun is a kind and hardworking 20-year-old mother who lives with her husband, their 5-year-old son Amir Hamza, and her father-in-law in a family of four, doing her best to care for everyone despite their difficult circumstances. Her husband is the family's only earning member, working as a day laborer with a monthly income of approximately BDT 6,000, which is barely enough to provide food and other basic necessities, leaving the family unable to afford the cost of hospitalization, medicines, investigations, and delivery-related care. After learning about Helpster Charity through a health worker, the family sought assistance in the hope of ensuring a safe delivery for Anju and her unborn baby. Despite exhausting their limited resources, they cannot continue her treatment without financial support. Without timely medical care, her breech pregnancy may progress to obstructed labour, fetal distress, umbilical cord prolapse, severe maternal bleeding, birth injury, stillbirth, and other life-threatening complications that could endanger both the mother and her baby.

The recommended treatment for her is LSCS under SAB, which is the safest option to deliver the baby promptly and prevent further complications. With timely surgery, both the mother and the baby are expected to recover well, and the baby is expected to grow and lead a healthy life. However, if the delivery is delayed or left untreated, the baby may develop fetal distress, umbilical cord prolapse, birth trauma, including brachial plexus injury, and head entrapment during delivery. The mother may also face life-threatening infections or other serious complications.
