The five-member family depends entirely on her husband’s agricultural day labor, which provides approximately USD 57 per month, leaving them unable to afford the medical expenses associated with her delivery. The family learned about Helpster Charity through a staff member of Life Care Hospital and sought support for Shahana’s safe delivery. At 39 weeks of pregnancy, she has been diagnosed with breech presentation, increasing the risk of complications during vaginal delivery. Without timely obstetric management and appropriate delivery planning, the breech position could lead to difficult or obstructed labor, fetal distress, and potentially serious complications for both mother and baby.

According to the doctor, Lower Uterine Caesarean Section (LUCS) is recommended to achieve a safe delivery because of the breech presentation at 39 weeks. Timely surgical delivery can reduce the risks associated with breech birth and help protect both the mother and baby from serious delivery complications. With appropriate surgical and postoperative care, both are expected to have a favorable outcome. If treatment is delayed or not provided, breech presentation may result in difficult or obstructed labor, fetal distress, birth injury, or other potentially life-threatening complications for the mother and baby.
