Susy is an 18-year-old young woman who is responsible, hardworking, and determined despite growing up in challenging circumstances. She lives with her mother in a remote rural area, where her mother depends on casual labor for a small and irregular income. The earnings are barely sufficient to provide food and other basic household necessities, making it difficult for the family to afford healthcare whenever illness occurs. Despite these hardships, Susy remains hopeful and resilient. She was brought to the hospital by her mother after developing severe upper abdominal and generalized abdominal pain, repeated vomiting mixed with blood, persistent cough accompanied by difficulty breathing, joint pains, diarrhea, and marked general body weakness. As her symptoms worsened and she became increasingly unwell, her family sought urgent medical attention. Following a thorough clinical assessment and laboratory investigations, she was diagnosed with severe malaria in pregnancy and peptic ulcer disease. Due to the seriousness of her condition and the potential risks to both mother and unborn baby, she was admitted for close monitoring, intravenous treatment, supportive care, and further investigations until her condition stabilized.

Susy brought to the hospital with history of, cough associated with difficult in breathing, joint pain, epigastric pain, vomiting with blood stained. On examination and laboratory investigation, she was diagnosed with severe malaria in pregnancy and peptic ulcers disease. Was given; I.v Artesunate,I.v ESO, I.v 10%D, I.v Ringers lacted, I.v Ceftroxane and paracetamol. She responded positively to medication and discharged home on good condition.
