Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.

That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

LIFE CARE HOSPITAL & DIAGNOSTIC CENTERRoumari, KurigramHospital contacts
Background

Shahanaz Pervin is a 28-year-old homemaker who devotes herself to caring for her husband, young daughter, and elderly mother-in-law while preparing to welcome her second child. The family of four depends entirely on her husband’s agricultural work, which provides only about USD 49 per month, leaving them barely able to afford food and other basic necessities, let alone the cost of medical care. The family learned about Helpster Charity through a CSDK staff member and sought support because they cannot afford the treatment needed for Shahanaz’s safe delivery. At 39 weeks of pregnancy, she has been diagnosed with breech presentation and anemia, both of which increase the risks associated with childbirth. Without timely obstetric management and appropriate delivery planning, breech presentation may lead to difficult delivery and serious complications for both mother and baby, while untreated anemia may further increase maternal and fetal risks.

Prognosis

According to the doctors, Lower Uterine Caesarean Section (LUCS), supportive treatment, and close monitoring are expected to provide a safer delivery for Shahanaz and her baby, considering the breech presentation at 39 weeks and maternal anemia. With timely delivery and appropriate supportive care, the risks associated with breech birth can be reduced and the mother and baby are expected to recover well. If treatment and monitoring are delayed, breech presentation may lead to difficult or obstructed delivery, fetal distress, or birth complications. Maternal anemia may further reduce the mother’s ability to tolerate blood loss during delivery and increase the risk of serious complications.
