Tanjina is a 20-year-old hardworking woman who dreams of starting a small tailoring business at home to support her family. She lives with her parents, Zafar and Tajnehar , in a five-member household, while her husband works as a farmer earning only approximately USD 102 per month, making it difficult to manage household expenses and afford her medical treatment. The family learned about Helpster Charity through Md. Zakir , a staff member at Deshbangla Hospital, when Tanjina developed severe, colicky pain in the upper right abdomen that worsened after fatty meals and radiated toward her shoulder. She was diagnosed with biliary colic and cholelithiasis (gallstones) after diagnostic scans confirmed the condition. Without timely treatment, recurrent gallstone attacks may become more severe and potentially lead to serious complications such as gallbladder inflammation, bile duct obstruction, or infection, which may require emergency care.

According to the treating physician, laparoscopic cholecystectomy (Lap Chole) is recommended to remove the gallbladder containing the stones and prevent recurrent biliary pain. With successful surgery and appropriate postoperative care, Tanjina is expected to recover well, with relief from abdominal pain and improved ability to eat and perform her daily activities. If left untreated, gallstones may continue to cause recurrent painful attacks and can lead to complications such as acute cholecystitis, bile duct obstruction, infection, or pancreatitis. In severe cases, these complications may become life-threatening and require emergency treatment.
