Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
The patient is a 28-year-old pregnant woman who enjoys caring for pets and hopes to raise her children to become educated and successful. She is 39 weeks and 4 days pregnant with her second child and was referred to New Evercare Hospital after developing lower abdominal pain, fatigue, abdominal hardening, and decreased fetal movement; ultrasonography revealed breech presentation with fetal distress. Her husband, aged 35, is a day labourer and the sole breadwinner, earning approximately USD 49 per month, while she is a homemaker and their 9-year-old daughter depends on this limited income. The family has no permanent home and cannot afford the required medical and delivery expenses. They learned about Helpster Charity through a previous beneficiary and sought financial support for her treatment and safe delivery. Without timely medical intervention, breech presentation with fetal distress can lead to obstructed labour, severe oxygen deprivation, birth injury, or loss of the baby, while also increasing risks to the mother.
Prognosis
The recommended treatment is a Lower Uterine Caesarean Section (LUCS) under Spinal Anesthesia Block (SAB), as it is the safest option to deliver the baby promptly and prevent further complications. With timely surgery, both the mother and the baby are expected to recover well, and the baby is expected to grow up healthy. However, if the delivery is delayed or left untreated, the baby may suffer from oxygen deprivation, fetal distress, umbilical cord prolapse, birth trauma, including brachial plexus injury, and head entrapment during delivery. The mother may also face serious, potentially life-threatening complications, making timely surgical intervention essential to ensure the safety of both mother and child.
