Mohammad Ibrahim is a 4.5-month-old baby boy living with his parents and 16-year-old sister in a four-member family. His father, Mohammad Khokon (42), is the sole earning member and works as a hosiery worker, earning only around USD 57 per month, making it difficult to meet the family’s basic needs and afford medical treatment. Ibrahim developed fever, cough, cold, widespread rash, and loose watery stools and was diagnosed with measles with pneumonia at Narayanganj Poly Clinic General Hospital. Without timely treatment, his condition could worsen and lead to serious respiratory and other complications. The family learned about Helpster Charity through volunteer Masud Rana and is seeking support for his recovery.

Hospitalization, isolation, antibiotic therapy, nebulization, and supportive care are expected to control Ibrahim’s measles and pneumonia, improve his breathing, and support gradual recovery. With timely treatment and close monitoring, he is expected to stabilize and recover without major complications. If left untreated, pneumonia may worsen rapidly, causing severe breathing difficulty, low oxygen levels, respiratory failure, and other serious complications. Isolation is also important to prevent the spread of measles to other vulnerable children and family members.
