Mehedi Hasan is a 21-year-old young man living with his parents and 14-year-old sister in a four-member family. His father, Ujjal Hossain (44), is the sole earning member, working as a garments worker and earning only around USD 65 per month, making it difficult to meet their basic needs and afford emergency medical treatment. Mehedi developed lower abdominal pain, fever, and vomiting and was diagnosed with acute appendicitis at Narayanganj Poly Clinic General Hospital. Without timely surgery, the appendix could rupture and cause severe infection and life-threatening complications. The family learned about Helpster Charity through volunteer Masud Rana and is seeking support for his urgent treatment

Appendicectomy is expected to remove the inflamed appendix, relieve Mehedi’s abdominal symptoms, and prevent further complications. With timely surgery, appropriate postoperative care, and monitoring, he is expected to recover well and gradually return to his normal daily activities. If treatment is delayed, the appendix may rupture and cause severe abdominal infection, abscess formation, sepsis, and potentially life-threatening complications. Early surgical intervention offers the best chance of an uncomplicated recovery.
