Md. Mahim is a 12-year-old Grade 6 student from a financially disadvantaged family of four. His father is the sole earning member and works as a day laborer, earning approximately USD 41 per month, which is barely enough to cover the family’s basic needs and leaves little money for medical treatment. Mahim is a hardworking and caring boy who dreams of becoming a doctor so he can help underprivileged people in his community, but his illness has left him weak and unable to continue his normal activities. He developed fever and vomiting followed by weakness, loss of appetite, and burning during urination, and was diagnosed with enteric fever with UTI. Without timely treatment, the infection could worsen and lead to serious complications, making proper medical care essential for Mahim’s recovery. His family learned about Helpster Charity through volunteer Ahammod Ali Azad and is seeking support for his treatment.

According to the treatment plan, hospitalization with parenteral antibiotic therapy and supportive care is expected to control both the enteric fever and urinary tract infection, reduce fever and vomiting, improve appetite and strength, and support Mahim’s recovery. With timely treatment and close monitoring, he is expected to regain his health and gradually return to school and normal activities. If left untreated, the infections may persist or worsen and could lead to serious complications, including systemic infection, dehydration, or involvement of other organs.
