Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Juboraj Tripura is a 7-month-old cheerful baby who is deeply loved by his parents and has faced difficulty eating and drinking since birth because of a congenital condition. He lives with his father and mother in a small one-room rented tin-shed house, while his father works as a cook’s assistant and earns only approximately USD 57 per month to support the family. With this limited income, the family cannot afford the cost of the surgery Juboraj needs, leaving him without treatment despite his ongoing feeding difficulties. Without appropriate surgical care, his feeding problems may continue and affect his nutrition and overall development. The family learned about Helpster Charity’s free medical services through volunteer Jamilur Reza.
Prognosis
According to the treating doctors, Cheiloplasty under General Anesthesia (GA) will permanently repair Juboraj Tripura’s unilateral cleft lip, improving his ability to eat and drink and helping to restore the normal function and appearance of his lip. With timely surgery, he is expected to make a good recovery and achieve improved feeding, speech development, and overall well-being. If left untreated, the cleft lip may continue to cause feeding difficulties, poor nutrition, speech problems, dental and oral health issues, and psychosocial challenges. Therefore, early surgical treatment is essential to support his healthy growth, development, and overall quality of life.
