She developed severe right lower abdominal pain for two days, accompanied by nausea and vomiting for five days, and was found to have tenderness and guarding in the right lower abdomen. Her father is the sole earning member of the six-member family and works as a daily wage laborer, earning approximately USD 49 per month, while her three brothers are also studying. The family cannot afford the cost of her urgent surgical treatment because her father's income is needed for household expenses and the children's education. Appendectomy under spinal anesthesia (SAB) is expected to remove the inflamed appendix, relieve the abdominal symptoms, and allow Rumpa to recover and return to her normal activities and studies. With timely surgery and appropriate postoperative care, a full recovery is expected. If treatment is delayed, the inflamed appendix may rupture, causing peritonitis, abdominal infection, and sepsis. These complications can rapidly worsen the patient's condition and may become life-threatening.
