Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.

That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Prognosis

The outlook for children with jejunoileal atresia is generally very good when diagnosed early and treated with surgery promptly. Recovery depends on how much of the intestine is blocked or affected, whether there is a tear or damage causing infection in the abdomen, and whether the child has other birth conditions affecting organs such as the heart or kidneys. Delayed treatment can cause severe dehydration, problems with body salts, poor nutrition, serious infection, and may become life-threatening.
