Iqra Moni is a 7-month-old baby girl who is cared for by her parents and her 10-year-old brother in a four-member family living in fragile conditions. Her father, Alomgir Islam (28), works as a hosiery worker and earns only BDT 7,000 (approximately USD 57) per month, leaving the family with very limited ability to afford medical treatment. Iqra developed fever, cough, cold, and breathing difficulty and was diagnosed with severe pneumonia, with an oxygen saturation of 92%. Without timely treatment, her breathing could deteriorate and lead to severe respiratory complications and other life-threatening conditions. The family learned about Helpster Charity through volunteer Masud Rana and is seeking support to ensure Iqra receives the necessary care.

Hospitalization with antibiotic therapy, nebulization, and supportive care is expected to control Iqra’s severe pneumonia, improve her breathing and oxygen level, and support gradual recovery. With timely treatment, close monitoring, and appropriate supportive care, she is expected to stabilize and recover well. If left untreated, the infection may worsen rapidly, causing severe respiratory distress, persistent low oxygen levels, respiratory failure, sepsis, and other life-threatening complications. Prompt treatment is therefore essential for her safe recovery.
