Zakaria Rahman is a 10-month-old baby boy living with his parents and grandparents in a five-member family. His father, Fazle Elahi (26), is the sole earning member and works as a day laborer, earning only around USD 65 per month, making it difficult to manage basic household needs and medical expenses. Zakaria developed cough, cold, fever, and breathing difficulty and was diagnosed with severe pneumonia, with an oxygen saturation of only 90%. Without urgent treatment, his condition could worsen rapidly, leading to severe respiratory complications, sepsis, and other life-threatening conditions. The family learned about Helpster Charity through volunteer Masud Rana and is seeking support for Zakaria’s treatment.

Hospitalization with antibiotic therapy, nebulization, and supportive care is expected to control Zakaria’s severe pneumonia, improve his breathing and oxygen level, and support gradual recovery. With timely treatment, close monitoring, and appropriate supportive care, he is expected to stabilize and return to normal feeding and activities. If left untreated, the infection may worsen rapidly, causing severe breathing difficulty, persistent low oxygen levels, respiratory failure, sepsis, and potentially life-threatening complications. Prompt treatment is essential for his safe recovery.
