Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
The patient is a 21-year-old honest and hardworking pregnant woman who enjoys preparing delicious food and dreams of building a permanent home for her family. She lives with her 23-year-old husband, a rickshaw puller earning approximately USD 49 per month, and their 4-year-old daughter, making it difficult to cover daily necessities and medical expenses on a single limited income. At 39 weeks and 2 days of pregnancy, she developed lower abdominal pain, discomfort, fatigue, and abdominal tightening, and an ultrasound at New Evercare Hospital revealed severe oligohydramnios. Without timely obstetric management, severely reduced amniotic fluid can cause umbilical cord compression, fetal distress, and potentially life-threatening complications for the baby during delivery. The family learned about Helpster Charity through a previous beneficiary and is seeking financial assistance to ensure a safe delivery for both mother and baby.
Prognosis
LUCS (Lower Uterine Cesarean Section) is expected to provide a timely and controlled delivery for Shammi, considering her 39+ weeks pregnancy with severe oligohydramnios. With appropriate preoperative assessment, surgery, and postoperative monitoring, she is expected to recover well and the baby can receive immediate assessment and necessary care. If treatment is delayed, severe oligohydramnios may increase the risk of fetal distress and other complications during labor and delivery. Timely delivery planning is therefore important to protect the health and safety of both mother and baby.
