Ariyan Meher is a 3-year-old cheerful young boy living with his parents, 5-year-old brother, and elderly grandparents in a six-member family. His father, Shafiqul Islam (34), is the sole earning member and works as a day laborer, earning only around USD 65 per month, making it extremely difficult to afford Ariyan’s medical expenses. Ariyan developed fever, cough, cold, and breathing difficulty and was admitted to Narayanganj Poly Clinic General Hospital, where he was diagnosed with severe pneumonia with an oxygen saturation of 88%. Without timely treatment, his breathing difficulty could worsen and lead to serious complications. The family learned about Helpster Charity through volunteer Masud Rana and is seeking support for Ariyan’s recovery.

Hospitalization with antibiotic therapy, nebulization, and supportive care is expected to control Ariyan’s severe pneumonia, improve his breathing and oxygen level, and help him recover gradually. With timely treatment and close monitoring, he is expected to regain his strength and return to normal activities. If left untreated, severe pneumonia may worsen rapidly, leading to persistent low oxygen levels, respiratory failure, and other life-threatening complications. Prompt treatment is therefore essential for his safe recovery.
