Nazrin Akter is an 8-year-old Grade 3 student who developed high-grade fever and severe cough for six days and was admitted to Saheda Gafur Ibrahim General Hospital after being diagnosed with typhoid. Her father, Nasir (38), runs a small tea stall and is the family’s sole earner, with a monthly income of approximately BDT 10,000–11,000 (around USD 82–90), while her mother, Shahida Begum (29), is a homemaker and her brother and grandparents are dependent on the family. Due to their limited income, the family struggles to meet basic household expenses and cannot afford Nazrin’s hospitalization, investigations, medicines, and treatment costs. The family learned about Helpster Charity through volunteer Abdur Rahman and sought assistance for her treatment. Without timely treatment, typhoid can progress to severe infection, intestinal complications, dehydration, and other serious complications, putting Nazrin’s health at significant risk.

Nazrin Akter is a 08 years old child. Suddenly She got fever for many days with caugh. Her mother came to our hospital in 22nd July 2026. Doctor diagnosed this case as typhoid fever. Doctor suggests to get admitted to hospital. Doctor and Nurses provide the baby proper treatment and affectionate care. As a result, Nazrin Akter comes round from her illness and becomes heathy. At 28th July 2026, we discharged her. The patient's family expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Helpster Charity and the hospital for their timely and effective care.

Doctors have advised treatment with parenteral antibiotics along with supportive therapy to effectively control Nazrin Akter's typhoid infection. With timely and complete treatment, her fever will gradually subside, her strength will return, and she will be able to resume her studies and daily activities without long-term effects. Proper medical care will also prevent the infection from spreading and protect her vital organs. However, if left untreated, typhoid can lead to severe complications such as intestinal perforation, internal bleeding, bloodstream infection, and even become life-threatening. Early intervention is therefore essential to ensure her full recovery and safeguard her future health.
