Azan Dhali is a 15-year-old Class 7 student who lives with his parents and 8-year-old brother in a four-member family. His father, Humayan Dhali (40), is the sole earning member and works as a day laborer, earning only around USD 65 per month, which is barely enough for the family’s basic needs and leaves little for medical expenses. Azan developed fever, body ache, headache, and loss of appetite and was diagnosed with dengue fever at Narayanganj Poly Clinic after clinical assessment and investigations. Without proper monitoring and supportive treatment, dengue can worsen and lead to serious complications, especially if warning signs develop. The family learned about Helpster Charity through volunteer Masud Rana and is seeking support for Azan’s treatment.

Hospitalization with IV fluids, supportive therapy, close monitoring, and regular CBC and other investigations is expected to help Azan maintain adequate hydration, monitor his blood counts, and identify any warning signs early. With timely treatment and observation, he is expected to recover gradually and return to his normal activities. If left untreated or poorly monitored, dengue may progress to bleeding, severe fluid loss, shock, organ complications, or other life-threatening conditions. Early medical care and continuous monitoring are therefore essential for a safe recovery.
