Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Tomasree Rani Biswas is a gentle and cheerful 7-year-old Class 2 student who lives with her father and extended family in a seven-member household after losing her mother. Her father, Sorot Biswas (30), is the primary earner and works as an auto-rickshaw driver, earning approximately USD 49 per month, which makes it difficult to meet the family’s daily needs and afford Tomasree’s medical expenses. She developed fever, cough, and cold followed by respiratory distress and was admitted to Seba Hospital & Diagnostic Center, where she was diagnosed with enteric fever with severe pneumonia and measles, with an oxygen saturation of 91%. The family lives in a modest tin-roofed house with a mud floor and learned about Helpster Charity through a local doctor, but their limited resources prevent them from managing the treatment costs. Without timely treatment, the combined infections may worsen rapidly, leading to severe respiratory distress, dangerously low oxygen levels, dehydration, serious infection, and potentially life-threatening complications.
Prognosis
Hospitalization with isolation, parenteral antibiotics, nebulization, oxygen support, and other supportive therapy is expected to control the infections, improve Tomasree’s breathing and oxygen level, and support her overall recovery. With timely treatment, close monitoring, and appropriate supportive care, she is expected to stabilize and gradually return to her normal activities. If left untreated, the combined infections may worsen, causing severe respiratory distress, dangerously low oxygen levels, dehydration, systemic infection, and other serious complications. In severe cases, these complications may become potentially life-threatening.
