Md. Junayed is a 10-year-old boy who developed high fever, severe body ache, and cough and was diagnosed with typhoid after evaluation at Saheda Gafur Hospital. His father, Nasir (38), runs a small tea stall and earns approximately BDT 10,000–11,000 (around USD 82–90) per month, which is insufficient to cover the family’s basic needs and Junayed’s treatment expenses. The family learned about Helpster Charity through volunteer Abdur Rahman and sought support for his treatment. Without timely treatment, typhoid can worsen and cause serious complications, including intestinal complications, severe infection, and other life-threatening conditions. Financial assistance is therefore needed to ensure Junayed receives the required treatment without placing an unaffordable burden on his family.

Doctors have advised treatment with parenteral antibiotics along with supportive therapy to effectively control Md. Junayed’s typhoid infection. With timely and complete treatment, his fever will gradually subside, his strength will return, and He will be able to resume his studies and daily activities without long-term effects. Proper medical care will also prevent the infection from spreading and protect his vital organs. However, if left untreated, typhoid can lead to severe complications such as intestinal perforation, internal bleeding, bloodstream infection, and even become life-threatening. Early intervention is therefore essential to ensure his full recovery and safeguard his future health.
