Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Alizan Miah is a 9-month-old boy living in Geneva Camp, Dhaka, who has already faced serious health problems, including a previous hospitalization for status epilepticus, anemia, and hypocalcemia (Previous Helpster ID: 6028). His father, Md. Rabbi Hossain, 24, works as an auto cleaner and earns approximately USD 82 per month, while his mother, Lili Akter, is a homemaker; the family also includes Alizan’s elder brother, Md. Sabbir Rahman. With such limited income and no savings, the family cannot afford the repeated hospital and treatment expenses required for Alizan’s care. They learned about Helpster Charity through Mr. Abdul Gaffer, Assistant to the President of SPGRC in Geneva Camp, and sought support when Alizan developed fever, cough, cold, and worsening respiratory distress. He was diagnosed with severe pneumonia, anemia, and febrile convulsion, and without timely treatment, his condition could deteriorate into severe respiratory complications, worsening anemia, recurrent seizures, and potentially life-threatening complications.
Prognosis
According to the treating doctor, broad-spectrum antibiotics, correction of metabolic abnormalities, and blood transfusion for anemia are recommended to control the severe pneumonia and anemia, with transfer to the PICU if the child deteriorates. Timely treatment is expected to improve the infection, correct anemia, and stabilize the child, reducing the risk of further complications from febrile convulsion. If left untreated, severe pneumonia may worsen, causing increasing respiratory distress, low oxygen levels, and potentially respiratory failure, while severe anemia may further compromise the child’s condition. Prompt treatment and close monitoring are therefore important for recovery.
