Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Lilian is the second-born in a family of three children. She lives with her parents, siblings and newborn baby in a two-room mud-walled house. Her mother is unemployed, and the household depends entirely on her father, who earns a modest living through peasant farming. Lilian is a Form Three student at Ojwando Secondary School. She enjoys listening to music during her free time and hopes to become a nurse. After discovering that she was pregnant, Lilian enrolled for antenatal care and attended two visits, walking nearly two hours to reach the clinic. Despite the pregnancy and difficult circumstances, she continued attending school until the term ended. One Tuesday evening, she developed abdominal pain, which she initially assumed was a normal part of pregnancy. By approximately 9:00 p.m., the pain had become unbearable, and she informed her father. He immediately took her to Ashburn Hospital, where assessment showed that the baby was in distress. Because she required specialised emergency care, Lilian was referred to Siaya County Referral Hospital for an urgent caesarean section.
Medical history
Lilian was wheeled into theatre due to emergency surgery due to non reassuring fetal state . Her child was safely born , and the uterus closed. She was admitted for post surgery, management where she she was administered oral sips, ceftriaxone ,morphine, brufen among other drugs. A call to Christine revealed that she was well healed and was going about her life as usual
Prognosis
Lilian underwent an emergency Caesarean section due to a non-reassuring fetal state, indicating concern for fetal compromise and possible inadequate oxygenation. With timely surgical intervention and appropriate postoperative and neonatal monitoring, the maternal prognosis is generally favorable. The neonatal prognosis depends on the severity and duration of fetal compromise and the baby's condition at birth. Close monitoring is required to identify and manage any respiratory, neurological, or other complications. In this case, the surgical intervention was promptly done eliminating prolonged oxygen deprivation to the baby this did not require admission to the NBU. With proper post operation care the mother is expected to make a full recovery
