Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
The nearly 3-month-old baby boy has experienced recurrent high fever reaching 104°F, seizures since birth, and a persistent cough for two months, with his condition worsening over time. He lives with his parents and two other family members, and his father is the sole breadwinner, running a small betel leaf shop and earning approximately USD 98 per month, which is insufficient to cover the family's basic needs and the baby's medical expenses. His mother is a homemaker, and the family learned about Helpster Charity through a marketing assistant manager at Sylhet Gastroliver Hospital while seeking support for his treatment. The baby has been diagnosed with meningitis, cerebral palsy, congenital heart disease, tinea corporis, and pneumonia, requiring continued medical care and close monitoring. Without timely and appropriate treatment, these serious conditions could lead to worsening infections, recurrent seizures, breathing difficulties, further neurological complications, and potentially life-threatening deterioration.
Prognosis
According to the treating doctors, Jaber Ahmed requires admission to the PICU for close monitoring and treatment, with broad-spectrum antibiotics, correction of metabolic abnormalities, fever and respiratory distress management, and nebulization. With timely treatment, the infection and respiratory complications can be controlled, helping stabilize his condition and allowing him to recover. If left untreated, meningitis with pneumonia may worsen and lead to severe respiratory distress, uncontrolled infection, neurological complications, and other potentially life-threatening deterioration. Continued intensive care and monitoring are therefore essential for his recovery.
