Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Marzia Sultana is a 2-month-old baby girl who was previously well and healthy but suddenly developed loose, watery stools and abdominal pain for one day and was diagnosed with acute watery diarrhoea with severe dehydration. Her father, Kawsar, 25, is the sole earner and works as a day labourer, earning approximately USD 74 per month, while her mother, Jhumur Begum, 18, is a homemaker; the family of five also includes Marzia’s grandparents, Mostofa, 60, and Jakia Begum, 50. With this limited income and several family members to support, the family struggles to meet basic needs and cannot afford Marzia’s necessary hospital treatment. The family was informed about the Helpster Support Program by the treating physician and sought assistance so Marzia could receive timely medical care. Without prompt treatment, severe dehydration in such a young infant can rapidly worsen and lead to electrolyte imbalance, shock, organ complications, and potentially life-threatening deterioration.
Prognosis
Doctors have recommended proper hydration therapy, and close medical monitoring to treat Marzia’s acute watery diarrhea and dehydration. With timely treatment, fluids and nutrients can be restored to his body, helping him regain strength and recover fully within a short time. Proper care will prevent further fluid loss and protect his vital organs from damage. However, if this condition is left untreated, severe dehydration may worsen and lead to extreme weakness, organ complications, and shock. In young children like Tanzim, left untreated dehydration can quickly become life-threatening, making immediate treatment and monitoring very important
