Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Saniya Akter Lipi is a 20-year-old young woman who lives with her mother and three younger sisters and was admitted to Seba Hospital with high fever, body pain, vomiting, stomach pain, headache, runny nose, and cold, and was diagnosed with typhoid fever and a urinary infection. Her father has been missing for 10 years, leaving her mother, Salma Begum, 40, as the only earner; she works in other people’s homes and earns approximately USD 24 per month, which is not enough to support the family of five or pay for Saniya’s treatment. The family learned about Helpster Charity through Tanjila Shahin Ema and sought support for Saniya’s treatment. Without timely treatment, her illness could become more serious, causing severe weakness, dehydration, worsening infection, or complications affecting other parts of her body.
Prognosis
According to the treating doctors, hospitalization with conservative and supportive treatment, appropriate medications, and proper monitoring is recommended to manage Saniya Akter Lipi’s enteric fever with UTI. With timely treatment and close monitoring, her fever, gastrointestinal symptoms, and infection are expected to improve, supporting a safe recovery and return to normal activities. If left untreated, enteric fever may worsen and cause dehydration, intestinal complications, severe infection, or other serious complications, while the UTI may also progress and affect the kidneys. Timely treatment is therefore important for Saniya’s recovery and prevention of further complications.
