Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.

That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

LIFE CARE HOSPITAL & DIAGNOSTIC CENTERRoumari, KurigramHospital contacts
Background

Ruman Mia is a 16-year-old Class 10 student who is focused on his studies and hopes to continue building a better future despite his family’s financial difficulties. His father, Robiul Islam, 46, is the sole earner and works as an auto-van driver, earning approximately USD 57 per month, while his mother is a homemaker and the family also includes Ruman’s younger brother. They live in a small tin-shade house with a mud floor, and their limited income is barely enough for daily necessities, leaving them unable to afford Ruman’s medical treatment. They learned about Helpster Charity through a staff member of Life Care Hospital after Ruman had been suffering from fever, cold, and cough for one month and was diagnosed with typhoid fever. Without timely treatment, the prolonged infection could worsen and lead to severe weakness, dehydration, intestinal complications, or bloodstream infection.

Prognosis

With timely administration of appropriate antibiotics and supportive treatment, Ruman Mia’s typhoid fever can be effectively controlled, leading to a gradual reduction in fever and improvement in his cold and cough. Proper medical care will help restore his strength and enable him to return to his normal daily activities, including attending school. With close monitoring and adequate treatment, the chances of a full recovery are very high. However, if left untreated, typhoid fever can worsen and lead to prolonged illness, dehydration, and other health complications that may significantly affect his overall health.
