Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
A 17-month-old boy depends on his mother and maternal grandparents for care and protection during a difficult period in his family’s life. His father is no longer communicating with the family or providing support, leaving his mother, a housewife, and his maternal grandfather, who earns approximately USD 33 per month as a pushcart puller, struggling to support the household, including the child and his two young siblings. The family lives in a modest tin-roofed house with a mud floor and learned about Helpster Charity through a volunteer. The child was admitted to the hospital with severe pneumonia and acute watery diarrhoea with some dehydration after seven days of fever and loose stools and four days of severe breathing difficulty. Without timely hospitalization, antibiotic therapy, hydration, and supportive care, his condition could deteriorate, leading to severe dehydration, respiratory failure, and potentially life-threatening complications.
Prognosis
According to the treating doctor, hospitalization, antibiotic therapy, nebulization, appropriate hydration, and other supportive treatment are recommended to manage severe pneumonia and acute watery diarrhea with dehydration. With timely treatment and close monitoring, the child’s respiratory symptoms may improve, while fluid and electrolyte balance can be restored to support recovery. If left untreated, pneumonia may progress to respiratory failure, while diarrhea can cause worsening dehydration and electrolyte imbalance. These complications may become life-threatening, making prompt medical treatment essential for the child’s recovery.
