Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
A 12-year-old boy studying in Grade 7 was previously healthy and focused on his education. He lives with his mother, elder sister, maternal grandfather, and maternal grandmother; since his father’s death, his mother has been responsible for caring for the family, while his grandfather earns approximately USD 65–73 per month through agricultural work. When the boy developed a high fever, severe body aches, and a cough lasting several days, his mother took him to Saheda Gafur Hospital, where investigations confirmed typhoid fever and he was admitted for treatment. The family’s limited income and the loss of the father make it difficult to cover basic household expenses and hospital costs, leaving them unable to afford the necessary treatment without assistance. Without timely and appropriate medical care, typhoid can lead to serious complications, including intestinal bleeding, intestinal perforation, and life-threatening illness; therefore, support from Helpster Charity is essential to help the boy recover and continue his education without placing an additional financial burden on his family.
Prognosis
Doctors have advised treatment with parenteral antibiotics along with supportive therapy to effectively control typhoid infection. With timely and complete treatment, his fever will gradually subside, his strength will return, and He will be able to resume his studies and daily activities without long-term effects. Proper medical care will also prevent the infection from spreading and protect his vital organs. However, if left untreated, typhoid can lead to severe complications such as intestinal perforation, internal bleeding, bloodstream infection, and even become life-threatening. Early intervention is therefore essential to ensure his full recovery and safeguard his future health.
