Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.

That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

A 1-month-old infant lives with her parents and grandparents in a five-member household. Her father works as a cook, earning approximately USD 65 per month, while her mother is only 20 years old, and the family struggles to cover basic living expenses and the cost of urgent medical care. The baby developed cough and cold for seven days, followed by fever and breathing difficulties, and was diagnosed with severe pneumonia on 24 September 2026, with an elevated respiratory rate and low oxygen saturation of 90%. The family learned about Helpster Charity through volunteer Masud Rana and sought assistance to secure the treatment their infant urgently needs. Without prompt medical care, her condition could deteriorate rapidly, leading to severe oxygen deprivation, respiratory failure, sepsis, and potentially death

Prognosis

According to the treatment plan, hospitalization, antibiotic therapy, nebulization, and supportive care are necessary to manage the infant’s severe pneumonia and breathing difficulties. With timely treatment and close monitoring, the baby’s breathing and oxygen levels may improve, supporting recovery and reducing the risk of complications. Without appropriate treatment, the infection may worsen rapidly, leading to severe oxygen deprivation, respiratory failure, sepsis, and potentially death. Given the infant’s very young age and low oxygen saturation, urgent medical care is essential to protect her life.
