Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
The patient is a 7-year-old boy who studies in Class 1 at a Madrasa Maktab and lives with his parents and elder brother, who studies Hifz at a madrasa. His father works as a painter, earning approximately USD 65 per month, while his mother is a homemaker, making it difficult for the family to meet basic household needs and afford essential medical expenses. The family learned about Helpster Charity through volunteer Masud Rana and sought assistance after the child developed a cough and cold for 15 days, followed by worsening breathing difficulties for five days; he was diagnosed with acute exacerbation of bronchial asthma, with oxygen saturation of only 88%. His low oxygen level and rapid breathing indicate significant respiratory distress requiring urgent medical care. Without timely treatment, his condition could worsen, leading to severe oxygen deprivation, respiratory failure, and potentially life-threatening complications.
Medical history
The patient was admitted to the hospital on 29/09/2026 with acute exacerbation of bronchial asthma, presenting with persistent cough, cold, and breathing difficulties. During hospitalization, he received medical evaluation and treatment to manage his respiratory condition and improve his oxygen saturation level. His condition was monitored closely to prevent further complications. After receiving treatment and showing clinical improvement, he was discharged on 01/10/2026 with advice to continue prescribed medications and follow the doctor's instructions.
Prognosis
According to the treating doctor, urgent medical treatment and close monitoring are necessary to manage the acute exacerbation of bronchial asthma. The patient’s oxygen saturation level of 88% indicates significant hypoxemia, requiring immediate medical attention. With timely and appropriate treatment, the patient’s breathing difficulties and oxygen levels are expected to improve, helping stabilize his condition and support recovery. If left untreated, the condition may rapidly progress to severe respiratory distress, dangerously low oxygen levels, respiratory failure, and potentially life-threatening complications.
