Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.

That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

LIFE CARE HOSPITAL & DIAGNOSTIC CENTERRoumari, KurigramHospital contacts
Background

A 7-month-old baby boy depends entirely on his family for care and protection. His father works as an agricultural day labourer, earning approximately USD 57 per month, while his mother is a housewife; the family of six, including the baby’s elder brother, elder sister, and elderly grandmother, lives in a small tin-shade house with a mud floor and struggles to afford basic necessities and medical expenses. The family learned about Helpster Charity through a government hospital staff member and sought assistance after the baby experienced fever, cold, cough, and breathing difficulties for one month; he was diagnosed with pneumonia. With such limited resources, his family cannot afford the necessary treatment. Without timely medical care, his condition may worsen, leading to dangerously low oxygen levels, respiratory failure, and potentially life-threatening complications.

Prognosis

With timely administration of appropriate antibiotics and supportive treatment, Sayfan Hasan’s pneumonia can be effectively managed, leading to a gradual reduction in fever and improvement in his cough, cold, and breathing difficulties. Proper medical care will help restore his strength and overall health. With close monitoring and adequate treatment, the chances of a full recovery are good. However, if left untreated, pneumonia can worsen and lead to severe breathing difficulties, prolonged illness, and other serious health complications.
