Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.

That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

LIFE CARE HOSPITAL & DIAGNOSTIC CENTERRoumari, KurigramHospital contacts
Background

A hardworking and determined 10-year-old boy studying at a local madrasha has been suffering from fever for 15 days, accompanied by cold, cough, and abdominal pain. He lives with his parents, two elder brothers, a younger brother, sister-in-law, and grandmother in a family of eight residing in two small tin-shade houses with mud floors. His father is the sole breadwinner, working as an agricultural day laborer and earning approximately USD 65 per month, while his mother manages the household, leaving the family struggling to cover basic needs and medical expenses. After learning about Helpster Charity through a staff member of Life Care Hospital, the family sought assistance, and medical examinations confirmed typhoid fever. Without timely treatment, the infection may worsen and lead to severe dehydration, intestinal bleeding or perforation, and potentially life-threatening complications.

Prognosis

With timely administration of appropriate antibiotics and supportive treatment, Rakibul Hasan’s typhoid fever can be effectively controlled, leading to a gradual reduction in fever and improvement in his abdominal pain, cold, and cough. Proper medical care will help restore his strength and enable him to return to his normal daily activities, including attending madrasha. With close monitoring and adequate treatment, the chances of a full recovery are very high. However, if left untreated, typhoid fever can worsen and lead to prolonged illness, dehydration, intestinal complications, and other serious health problems.
