Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
The patient is a 3-year-old boy living with his parents and three elder sisters in a six-member family in a modest tin-roofed house with a mud floor. His father works as a farmer, earning approximately USD 41 per month, while his mother is a homemaker, leaving the family struggling to cover basic necessities and medical expenses for their four children. The family learned about Helpster Charity through a neighbour and sought assistance when the child developed a high fever, cough, poor feeding, and severe breathing difficulties. He was admitted to Seba Hospital on 7 October 2026 and diagnosed with severe pneumonia, requiring hospital treatment and close monitoring that his family could not afford. Without timely treatment, his condition could worsen, leading to dangerously low oxygen levels, respiratory failure, and potentially life-threatening complications.
Prognosis
The patient, a 3-year-old male, was presented to our facility with a three-day history of high-grade fever and cold-cough, which rapidly progressed to severe respiratory distress, poor feeding, and excessive crying. Clinical examination revealed a temperature of 101°F, a respiratory rate of 45 breaths per minute, and bilateral lung crepitations (crackles), confirming a diagnosis of severe pneumonia. If left untreated, this condition can critically worsen, potentially leading to acute respiratory failure, severe hypoxemia, sepsis, or life-threatening empyema (pus accumulation around the lungs).
