Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.

That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

LIFE CARE HOSPITAL & DIAGNOSTIC CENTERRoumari, KurigramHospital contacts
Background

A 9-month-old boy depends entirely on his family for care and protection, but his family faces severe financial hardship that makes accessing medical treatment difficult. He lives with his parents, elderly grandparents, and an uncle in a small tin-roofed house with a mud floor, where his 26-year-old father is the sole earning member, working as an agricultural day labourer and earning approximately USD 65 per month. This limited income is barely enough to cover the basic needs of six family members, leaving them unable to afford unexpected medical expenses. The infant developed a fever lasting six days, accompanied by cold, cough, and breathing difficulties; following medical examination and diagnostic tests, he was diagnosed with typhoid fever and requires appropriate treatment. Without timely medical care, his condition could worsen, leading to severe dehydration, serious complications, or a life-threatening illness, making financial assistance from Helpster Charity essential to support his recovery.

Prognosis

With timely administration of appropriate antibiotics, fever management, and supportive treatment, Abu Hussain’s typhoid fever can be effectively treated, leading to gradual improvement in his fever, weakness, and overall condition. Proper medical care will support his recovery and reduce the risk of complications. Close monitoring is essential to ensure that any worsening of his condition is managed promptly. However, if left untreated, typhoid fever may become severe and lead to serious complications, particularly at his young age.
