Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.

That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

LIFE CARE HOSPITAL & DIAGNOSTIC CENTERRoumari, KurigramHospital contacts
Background

A 10-year-old boy studying in Class Three at a local government primary school lives with his parents and younger sister in a tin-roofed house with a mud floor. His father is the family’s sole breadwinner, working as an agricultural day labourer and earning approximately USD 57 per month, which is insufficient to cover the family’s basic needs and the cost of medical treatment. The family learned about Helpster Charity through a government hospital staff member and sought assistance after the boy experienced fever for one month, accompanied by cough, cold, and abdominal pain; medical investigations confirmed typhoid fever and a urinary tract infection (UTI). Without timely and appropriate treatment, the infections could worsen and lead to serious complications, including intestinal bleeding or perforation from typhoid and kidney infection from the UTI. Financial support is essential to help him receive the necessary treatment and recover.

Prognosis

With timely antibiotic therapy and appropriate supportive care, the patient's typhoid fever and urinary tract infection (UTI) are expected to improve, with gradual reduction in fever and other symptoms. Proper treatment and close monitoring will help restore his strength and support his return to normal daily activities, including school. Without appropriate treatment, typhoid fever may cause prolonged illness, dehydration, intestinal complications, and other serious health problems, while the UTI may worsen and potentially spread to the kidneys. Prompt medical care is essential to support recovery and prevent complications.
