Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
The 12-year-old girl is a Grade Six student who lives with her parents and two sisters, aged 19 and 3, in a family struggling financially. Her father works in agriculture and earns approximately USD 73 per month, which is insufficient to cover the family's basic needs and medical expenses. She developed a high fever and severe cough lasting six days and was admitted to Saheda Gafur Ibrahim General Hospital after investigations confirmed typhoid fever. The family cannot afford her treatment because her father's limited income must support all five family members, and they learned about Helpster Charity through a volunteer. Without timely treatment, typhoid fever can lead to severe dehydration, intestinal bleeding, intestinal perforation, and potentially life-threatening complications.
Prognosis
The patient presents to our facility with a six-day history of high-grade fever, body aches, and a cough, which establishes a definitive diagnosis of typhoid fever. Hospitalization is immediately required to initiate intravenous antibiotic therapy and ensure the proper monitoring of her vital signs. If this progressive systemic infection is left untreated, the bacteria can cause fatal intestinal perforations, massive gastrointestinal bleeding, or life-threatening septic shock.
