Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Queen is a friendly nine-year-old Grade Three pupil who enjoys playing with her peers and dreams of becoming a teacher. She lives with her parents and extended family in a village. The family struggles to meet daily needs, making medical expenses difficult to afford. Queen was brought to a facility outreach appearing weak and unwell. Following assessment and testing, she was diagnosed with bronchitis and tonsillitis. Her treatment plan included intravenous antibiotics, antimalarial medication and supportive care. She requires monitoring to assess her response to treatment. Improvement would include reduced weakness, better appetite and a return to her usual activity levels. Her family’s limited resources make support important in helping her access the care she needs.
Prognosis
Queen presented with symptoms consistent with acute bronchitis and tonsilitis. Her clinical state at presentation suggested a moderate severity of illness, likely worsened by delayed care. She has been started on appropriate treatment, including supportive care such as hydration, antipyretics, and medications to relieve cough and airway inflammation. Close monitoring has been initiated to ensure there is no progression to more severe lower respiratory tract infection. The prognosis is generally good. She is expected to gradually improve over a few days to weeks.
