Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.

Background
Halima is a two-year-old girl living with her parents at Yobe State. She was well until five days before her presentation at the facility when she developed rashes, cough, redness of the eye, fever, and difficulty breathing. She was examined and investigated, and a diagnosis of Measles complicated by Bronchopneumonia was made.
Medical history
Two-year-old Halima was admitted on account on account of a cough, rashes, and fever. A diagnosis of Measles complicated by Bronchopneumonia was made. She was treated successfully, and the symptoms of cough and rashes were stopped. The child became playful and happy again.
Outcome
Pneumonia should be treated with antibiotics. If left untreated, pneumonia may lead to the permanent lung damage, respiratory failure, septicaemia (infection entering blood stream and causing sepsis), pleural effusion (accumulation of fluid in the space between the lung and chest wall, which can make breathing difficult), and other life-threatening complications.
