Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
A 4 y. o old boy who was brought in to our health facility with the complaints of scrotal swelling that has lingered for more than two years. He is jovial and likes playing toys.
Medical history
A case of Right Congenital Hernia admitted for surgery on 06th July, 2023. The surgery was conducted successfully, patient had his post-operation treatment and was discharged home on 12th of July, 2023.
Outcome
He will require surgery due to the swelling but it has good prognosis. Treatment of the swelling will remove pain and the discomfort associated with it.If left untreated, can cause inguinal hernia(a condition in which some part of the intestine pushes through an opening in the groin.It can also result to infection of the testis, twisting of the testis(torsion).
