Shantel is a happy girl who dreams of becoming a teacher when she grows up. She enjoys sharing stories with her mom and lending a hand with household tasks. Since she was 2 years old, she's had a constant flow of fluid from her right ear, which has been going on for a while. This has made her shy away from spending time with her friends.

For several months, Shantel has been having mild headache with associated pain in the right ear. A few weeks ago, she started having a discharge from her right ear this has eventually grown to become a serious problem which affects her socially with others and has also affected her hearing.
