Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
This is a 5-year-old boy who really enjoys playing and having fun. His mother works as a local tailor, and his father is a driver in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State. The boy has a swelling in his left scrotum that started about 3 months ago, and it has been getting bigger and causing him pain.
Medical history
Joshua was admitted for hydrocele surgery, which was successfully performed without any side effects. He responded well to both the surgery and post-operative care. After making a full recovery, he was discharged home. He is currently in good health, with no swelling, discomfort, or pain.
Outcome
The persistent presence of a hydrocele can cause ongoing discomfort, heaviness, or a feeling of fullness in the scrotum. Although hydroceles are not typically associated with infections, untreated ones may become prone to infections, which can result in pain and complications. Larger hydroceles can interfere with activities like walking or participating in sports due to the added weight and size of the swollen scrotum. Surgical removal of the hydrocele sac is the most effective and permanent treatment for hydrocele. It is typically performed as an outpatient procedure under local or general anesthesia. The surgeon makes a small incision in the scrotum, drains the fluid, and removes the sac.
