Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Donrex is a 2-year-old child who loves to play. His mother is a farmer and usually leaves him to play with his friends while she works in the fields. Today, when she came back from the farm, she found Donrex feeling weak and it seemed like he had been having lots of diarrhea.
Medical history
Donrex came to the hospital with severe diarhoea, vomiting, and unable to eat. He was given zinc sulphate, ors satchets, and metronidazole. He soon improved, and is now in good health.
Outcome
Gastroenteritis can cause fluid loss through vomiting and diarrhea, leading to dehydration. Severe dehydration can be life-threatening, especially in infants, the elderly, or individuals with weakened immune systems. Continued gastrointestinal symptoms may prevent the absorption of essential nutrients, potentially leading to malnutrition. To treat gastroenteritis, especially if it's due to a viral infection, the focus is typically on supportive care, which includes gradually reintroducing a regular diet once vomiting and diarrhea subside. In some cases, antiemetic (anti-nausea) or antidiarrheal medications may be prescribed, but their use should be carefully monitored, especially in certain situations.
