Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Natalia is a cheerful girl who would like to be a doctor when she grows up. She likes to play with her siblings when she is home. She was apparently well until a few days ago when she was accidentally pushed by one of her siblings and fell into hot water, sustaining a burn wound.

Medical history

Natalia was burnt by hot water at home while playing with the brother who accidentally pushed her. Due to the extent of her burns, she was admitted for further management in the facility. Daily cleaning and dressing done to the burnt arm, together with medication and she responded well to treatment and was eventually discharged.

Outcome

The doctor decided to admit the patient who sustained a 5% superficial burn to the left lower arm so that her condition could be monitored by the nurses at the facility. If left untreated the hand could form contractures which may lead to amputation of the arm. Daily dressing and cleaning done in the arm.
