Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Mustapha is not in school right now because his parents can't pay for his education. He really enjoys playing with a ball, swimming in the river behind their house, and fishing there too. But on October 17, 2023, something started to go wrong. Mustapha lost his appetite, couldn't sleep at night, and felt unwell. His father tried giving him some medicine from the pharmacy, but it didn't help. As days went by, Mustapha's lips started to crack, and he began shivering often.
Medical history
The child was accessed and treated promptly and successfully for malaria. The fever stopped, and the child's overall health drastically improved. Discharged home and the parents were thankful.
Outcome
Malaria should be treated promptly with the use of antimalarial drugs. If left untreated, it can lead to severe complications and even death. It can result in organ failure, severe anemia, neurological issues, and in some cases, prove fatal, making early diagnosis and treatment crucial for preventing these life-threatening consequences.
