Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Ashley is young girl who likes reading. Most of her time she play with other children. Her hobbies are reading, swimming and travelling. Her dream is to become a teacher. The child complained of fever, pain when swallowing and coughing.

Medical history

Ashley was brought in accompanied with the grandmother with complains of difficulty in swallowing food, painful neck coughing and hotness of the body. She was examined and tested and found to have tonsillitis's. The patient was then put on medication, antibiotics painkillers and antipyretic. She was observed at the clinic for six hours. Then was discharged home in stable condition. Her grandmother was advised to alert the doctor incase of any resurgence.

Outcome

Enlarged tonsils can trap bacteria and viruses, leading to recurrent throat and ear infections. These infections can cause discomfort, pain, and may require repeated courses of antibiotics. An adenotonsillectomy is a medical procedure in which both the adenoids and tonsils are surgically removed. The adenoids are small glands located at the back of the throat, while the tonsils are situated on either side of the throat.
