Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.

Background
Sadiq is a playful 1-year-old boy who has been displaced from his home. He has a painful swelling in the left lower belly and groin area that he can't push back in. He cries a lot and holds onto the swollen area.
Medical history
Sadiq Abubakar, a one-year-old boy, underwent hernia surgery on December 6, 2023. The procedure was successful, and he was discharged on December 10, 2023. Since returning home, Sadiq has shown significant improvement; the swelling and pain have subsided, and he is no longer irritable or prone to excessive crying. He now engages more easily in play with other children, demonstrating a positive recovery and improved quality of life.
Outcome
If left untreated, inguinal hernias can lead to complications such as bowel obstruction, strangulation (where blood supply to the herniated tissue is cut off), and significant pain or discomfort. Surgery is the most common treatment for inguinal hernias to repair the weakened area and prevent these potential complications.
