Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Bokoli Subcounty Hospital

Bokoli Sub-County Hospital, Sikata - Kimilili Rd, Bokoli

Background

Emmanuel is only six years old, and is already developing interest in knitting; he will often be found with knitting needles and wool, trying to knit something out of it. He also likes gardening. He would like to be a doctor when he grows up. He was brought to the hospital with complains of a cough, pain during swallowing, pain on the neck and in the chest.

Medical history

Emmanuel was brought to the hospital with complaints of a cough, neck and chest pain, and discomfort while swallowing. He was diagnosed with tonsillitis and received appropriate treatment and medication.

Outcome

Enlarged tonsils can trap bacteria and viruses, leading to recurrent throat and ear infections. These infections can cause discomfort, pain, and may require repeated courses of antibiotics. An adenotonsillectomy is a medical procedure in which both the adenoids and tonsils are surgically removed. The adenoids are small glands located at the back of the throat, while the tonsils are situated on either side of the throat.
