Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Ashley is a 5-year-old girl who lives with her single mom. She dreams of becoming a teacher one day and enjoys gardening and coloring. She came in with her left eye swollen and red, following an injury.
Medical history
Ashley came to the hospital with her left eye swollen and red due to an injury. She was diagnosed with traumatic conjunctivitis caused by the physical trauma to her eye. Despite the injury, her eyesight remained unaffected. An ophthalmic nurse thoroughly examined her eye and prescribed medication for her to use at home. Ashley received excellent care and recovered well.
Outcome
Conjunctivitis may require antibiotic eye drops or ointment. If left untreated, conjunctivitis can sometimes lead to more serious eye conditions, such as an infection of the cornea (keratitis) or an inner eyelid infection. In rare cases, it can lead to a serious infection involving the whole eye or orbital cellulitis, a severe infection surrounding the eye.
