Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Abubakar is a 10 year old boy who is joyful, loves to read, and likes playing soccer. About 10 days ago he developed fever, headache, anorexia, and fatigue, currently in distress and having several episodes of vomiting. He is diagnosed with Severe Malaria.
Medical history
Abubakar was brought to our facility with symptoms including fever, vomiting, headache, loss of appetite, and fatigue. After initial investigations, he was diagnosed with Acute Malaria with Enteric fever. He was admitted for treatment on November 27, 2023, where he received antimalarial, antibiotics, antipyretics, multivitamins, and intravenous fluids. Following treatment, he was discharged on November 29, 2023. He is now in stable condition.
Outcome
Malaria should be treated promptly with the use of antimalarial drugs. If left untreated, it can lead to severe complications and even death. It can result in organ failure, severe anemia, neurological issues, and in some cases, prove fatal, making early diagnosis and treatment crucial for preventing these life-threatening consequences.
