Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Maliki is a 4-year-old boy, the first and only child in his family. His dad works as a mechanic by the roadside. Six months ago, Maliki started to have swelling in his groin and scrotum area. Sometimes this swelling hurts, but it's not causing a blockage.
Medical history
Maliki was admitted for hydrocelectomy surgery, which was successfully performed. After a few days of recovery without any complications, he was discharged home on December 25, 2023.
Outcome
The persistent presence of a hydrocele can cause ongoing discomfort, heaviness, or a feeling of fullness in the scrotum. Although hydroceles are not typically associated with infections, untreated ones may become prone to infections, which can result in pain and complications. Larger hydroceles can interfere with activities like walking or participating in sports due to the added weight and size of the swollen scrotum. Surgical removal of the hydrocele sac is the most effective and permanent treatment for hydrocele. It is typically performed as an outpatient procedure under local or general anesthesia. The surgeon makes a small incision in the scrotum, drains the fluid, and removes the sac.
